 Having spent an hour hiding behind a tree, in an attempt to improve my wildlife photography, I came home and promptly culled most of the pictures. This one nearly went too. And then I spotted the deer on the right- was he really winking at me?!?! I looked at the shots either side (part of a timed series) and this was the only one he was winking in.

A bit of a shoehorn - just looking for an excuse to share it! Whatever the outcome, the photo makes me smile. Can't remember the last time I was winked at!
