I was driving home from playing golf. As I crossed the train tracks I looked to the right and saw this young man with his dog. It looked to me as if he was waiting for the train. I stopped the car, opened the window and took his picture. He looked up as I took the shot and he waved to me. I pulled the car over and went over to talk to him. His dog, a border collie, was the best dog he ever had. I showed him a picture of my border collie who had died 7 years ago. They looked very similar my feelings of missing him came rushing back.
We talked for a few minutes and I showed him the picture I had taken of him and his dog. He said he didn't mind and I took down his email so that I could send him a copy. Its funny how these things just happen sometimes.

I love the story. I lost my border collie two weeks ago. A damn good dog.

I love the story. I love your human kindness.

I don't understand why this "only" got a yellow ribbon.

That's a great story, it's nice you stopped to chat with him - I probably would have been too chicken (not scared, just kinda shy). Congrats on the ribbon!

There is a feeling here of forlornness. I really like the toning and dof.

The tone of this is great. Very moody and soft at the same time
