Ubehebe Crater: what an incredible place. This is not even the main crater, but the lip of a secondary crater immediately adjacent. I walked all the way around it, taking the same path as these hikers. I have to say, that top lip at the far left edge of the image was rather terrifying to navigate - just about a 15" width with a vertiginous drop-off on either side. Then there was the very sandy, 12" path from it to the next little leveling off. My adrenals sure got a workout...

I think this is a very nice uncluttered photograph, and making it black and white was a great idea. I think it should do well.
