I think this would be much better if the child were in focus and not cut into pieces by what I assume was the stitching together of the frames.I think if you only took two or three frames keeping the child completely in one of them it wold have worked out.

No motion, processing problems. IMO, should have made the baby's head correct & put the gaps (if any) in the distance. "stitch" software nowadays is so good that you can't distinguish it from a true wide-angle lens (that is, if the software is used correctly).
