Greetings from the Critique Club :)
This is an interesting concept of the cliche challenge.. As far as being considered 'cliche' I'm not sure... I can't recall seeing too many photos of this nature around :)
The color composition you chose on this gives it the feeling of a black light of some sort... It does have a nice abstract effect...
Compositionally, I don' believe that clipping the light fixture with the bottom of the frame is really helping anything... Moving it up in the frame may help out some :)

| I just think this is a really cool shot. Nice color. Sort of abstract. Not the best example of a cliche subject maybe. |

| i like this...love the colors. would have been better if the bottom of the light wasn't cut off and i would have cropped a little more off the top. nice work, though! |

| there is enough room on the top so you didn't have to crop the bottom to take out a part of it... but i like it anyway... |
