Very good interpretation! I see a mother and child together. Very cool. Maybe a little more shallow depth of field could blur out the background just a tiny bit.

That does look like a whale! Great picture. I would lke to see that shot with a different framing. You could have skipped the lower rock formation and went with more open space on the right.

Neat rock! Love the background colors. Only nitpick is that it would put more emphasis on the whale if you cropped out the light color rock in the lower left.

whale of a rock :)
maybe a rectangular crop (i.e. without the lower rock) would focus more on the subject.
