Disqualification Details
Photographer has created a composite, a double-exposure of two prominent elements that have roughly equal weight in the finished composition. While it's a fine piece of work, it doesn't fit into the category "texture overlays" and we have to DQ it.

OK, I am not sure this is what the challenge theme had in mind. That said, I am not a stickler for strict interpretation of the theme. I'll take an interesting image roughly inspired by the challenge theme over a ho-hum image that strictly fits the theme any day. I like this.

I love the effect, and I suspect that this might slide through with the lenient rules this time, but definitely not a "texture" by DPC's normal standards. Nice result.
