Original with gold tone background prior to some burn down of highlights and addition of texture.

... and after adding texture to white background version.



I liked the richness of the gold tone background and the way it bled through the texture so that's the one I used.

Hope this helps some with the forum thread conversation.

Barry, many thanks for putting the additional info up. My comment in 'the thread' was because I was confused by the results and tbh I still am - probably why I've never added an overlay to any Challenge entry ;)
