Love the almost-eye-contact from many of these people. Really nice to explore.
Coming back for another look - you have captured humanity's seriousness, silliness, and ironies. The ladder remains an odd bit which is just one of the things to wonder in this great composition. The 2-half-shirt, the ORIGINAL shirt, the signage, the mere crowdedness and meaninglessness of it all. Wonderful.  Bumping to 9. |

Good capture of loneliness in the middle of a crowd.
The image tells to much though in my opinion - a bit of cropping from the left side, the entire figure with the backpack or half of it would make sense to me.

| One can be alone in the crowd was my first thought when I saw this shot. Interesting how people are hardly phased by her presence in this busy shopping center even though she is standing atop a step ladder. It is a moment that makes me wonder why she is taking a selfie or filming; given that she carried a ladder with her it might be an assignment. While the people around her are not stopping I stop to wonder why she is there and what her story is. |
