 Leaf in my parents pond. Taken 8:30GMT - 5 hrs so 3:30EST.

Lots of editing.
Used smudge tool (in Gimp) to remove crud from surface of the water.

Decomposed to lab colour twice. One time did a selective gaussian blur on the whole picture, once a unsharpen mask on the whole picture. Combined the two shots into one, using the unsharpened leaf and the blurred background.

Tweaked the colour until I was satisfied.

Voila.. Thanks to Jab119's superb vision in giving me this idea.

Nice, if it was the only photo of colored leafs in the challenge it would be even better but there are so many.
It's a nice picture but after the 20th the wow factor is gone (not your fault)

Excellent shot, however if I may nitpick the leave itself looks a bit overexposed, a little burning would put this shot up in the "aweseome" category.

I like this shot's composition very much. I might have gotten taller over the leaf to see more of it while still having the trees' reflection in the water. Nice job

nice contrast. Just wish there was away to have the leaf more defined and w/ less glare. I try the same type of stuff and get the same result. Dunno if it's possible.

I think a crisp focus that included the trees would have been better, but a good effort in any case.
