A high percentage of the daytime dragons are mostly blue around here too. I find the odd red one in the Autumn. Damsels are also mostly blue. The really big dragons (with the green/blue stripes) go on patrol in the evenings. You can sometimes find them in the shade before. I find the little ones are less afraid of stalking photographers. I haven't seen as many small ones this year. My cat caught a few, tsk tsk. Her evening routine. Only one fatality. She calls me when she finds one and has a hard time letting one go.
