This is a retake of my submission in the "Golden Hour" challenge. I wondered if my low score was because the picture did not have gold in it and therefore was thought to not meet the challenge or if viewers felt it was not that good of a photo. I like the first image better for several reasons. 1) I did not manufacture the heart. It was actually there and I did not see it until I looked at the picture in the viewfinder. In this image which was taken a few days later, the heart had disappeared and I had to prepare a heart within the butterfly bush that I was shooting. 2) I liked the natural perch in the first picture better than the one I used in the second. 3) I like the pose of the hummingbird better in the first picture. 4) I like the arrangement and focus on the frame better in the first picture. In my opinion if the score of this entry is better than the "Golden Hour" entry I will feel better that it was just an issue of "DNMC"

The challenge isn't over yet but already I can see that my score is much improved from the golden hour challenge. That is quite gratifying as it is more important to me to produce a well liked photo than to satisfy a challenge theme.
