huh? vivid color, but picture is either too dark or just not enough contrast; the colors are too bright to make this a pastel looking picture, imo.

It is certainly bursting with colour, but the modesty is not portrayed very strongly, so as a result the poverty association is lost.

As a pure photograph, the v ivid colours are warm and inviting, however the cemtral positioning of the window, gives a static impression. I would prefer to see the window croped on either the left or right hand side.

Not sure it fits the Poverty theme that well, but then I'm not a big Protector of Strict Literalism. And I'm a sucker for vibrant color! (9)

yup love the colors..in a photo anyways..I think a little more emphasis on the tin roof would have given it more of an impoverished feeling.
