There are definitely effects which look like images are stitched together here. Also, the shadows don't add up (nose shadow is crisp on finger). Then the DOF - the nose and eye are in focus, but the toner in the same plane is out of focus. I believe this may be a possible image in one frame using glass, but there are too many questions, and thus validation is definitely required.
This is still brilliant. And DQ really shouldn't matter; check this photographer

Ouch.
Has originals of the other photos, but not this one? I say caught out and trying to avoid validation. The closed account also speaks plenty. Sad.

it's hard to imagine her right eye staying open through such a massive explosion of toner.
I too thought that was impossible!

| I really like the idea and execution but you pushed the highlights in her eye a bit too far for my liking, unnaturally bright and distracting. I also wonder, the eyes instinctively close when something is "shot" in their direction... so how did she not flinch with powdery explosions on her face? The more I think about this last point the more the aqua looks pasted in and not occurring during the shoot. |
