Never in my wildest dreams did I think this would actually work out for me. Wow!! I came home on the eve of the challenge and still didn't have anything to enter the Billy Joel Challenge. Couldn't convince any of the men in my family to sit at our piano and "pretend" to play....my grandson wasn't available (would have been titled "Little Piano Man"). So out of pure desperation I took 1 shot with my iPhone and massaged it and entered that...Though I thought it was decent, I didn't think it'd be in the top 5!!! Thank you very much!!!

Greetings (again) from the Critique club

We've run out of fresh images to critique, so now there are some old ones in the queue.

You did extremely well with this particular shot Janine, I love it when those last minute attempts do better than we could ever expect.

This was one of my favourites in this challenge. I loved the simplicity and really liked the texture (assuming Analogue Pro?) I don't have an iPhone any more but I do find that sometimes I get better angles when using the phone over the "big gun" not sure why :)

Not too much to comment on this one, it's a well done image

This just really drew me in. I love the grain the feel look, really appreciate this image and it is one of my tops and personal favorites..

Very nice on the processing, and the title fits it well, I am glad you used a different title.

Love the PP, would be better if someone was playing though.

This is a nice example of where a texture overlay works very well - but it's an enhancement - the original photograph is good enough to support it!

I like it. I do wonder how it would look with a person playing it?
