It's like this abandoned structure is being reborn, or at least repurposed. The balance between the walls, floor and ceiling is nicely handled. I think the window secures the entire image, opening up to the world outside and allowing the sunlight to pour in.

The bright colors actually make this scene appear festive which provides an unexpected interpretive twist to this challenge.
