The line of structures is held together, in a way, by the parade of textures beautifully delineated by the black and white format. The perspective draws the viewer right into the scene. The contrast is attractive and fine-grained. There's a fussy harmony to all the windows and doors. Makes a strong statement.

The title says it all.

The textures are fabulous - from the plywood, to the glass, to the door knob, to the wire grating. Lots of interest with nails sticking out, that ledge, even the weeds! Good angle, because I suspect from a flat front capture, all those textures would have been subdued.
