This is one of my five chickens, Biff (AKA Xander), a Buff Orpington (formerly Buffy, until "she" started cock-a-doodle-doo-ing.) Unfortunately, roosters are not allowed where I live, so he will have to be rehomed soon.

Since the challenge details specifically included "show us what you've learned", I used the "Orton Effect", which was a recent challenge and a new technique to me.

I had to look up this Orpington thing.
It says, among other things: Hens often become broody and are good mothers.
What about roosters?
Such finesse and wisdom! I love it

I wish you'd masked off the eye before you put on the effect... so the eye would be sharp and "in your face".

It's perfect otherwise. Really lovely.

But... I want that eye. :D
