I know that girl. By drawing on a window, she combines her artwork with the world outside (or the world inside depending on where you're standing). By photographing her, you capture the process of these worlds combining, and you capture the artist, and the strong shadows on her face are similar to the dark shapes in her artwork, so you suggest that the whole thing is one artwork.
Or I could just go with Feminist Theory and say this is another old white guy stealing a woman's art.... ;) |

| There's a full story, even a novella, in this image. She's drawing flowers, but she could also be said to be remaking the world. The composition is artful (darn, can't escape those puns). Her beautiful concentration is compelling. We can still see some bits of the prior world at the top of the window. And what what a fascinating choice to go black and white --- it's probably quite colorful. Very strong. |

| I am often seeing images of this and another child and I really enjoy them, however in this instance it is preventing me from giving this a very high score. Call me old fashioned but that is what my mind is up to.7. |
