As I told Bear_Music: This is my chance to be "spot on" meeting the challenge; whatever I did...

What is happening in this photographic scene is not all clear to me; it appeared that a young women and a scary overdressed priest with a fake dark beard were distributing to this frantic group of people some mysterious small envelops. Perhaps some final event of the Chinese new year season. This occurred in the city of Malacca, Malaysia

Pretty good placement for your own challenge! Who would know you better than you? Thanks for the inspiration...

very disorienting but orienting at the same time. All these hands and the steps, and even crutches pointing in the same direction like little metal crumbs aligned in the presence of a strong and invisible magnet. Congrats on a Top Ten in your own challenge :)

What an great street scene. I think it's so interesting, and likely flattering, that five others nailed your wonderful style this time even more spot on than you did :) But this is fabulous!

This was my original thought about an official JJ. I lost my nerve as time went on about authenticity, but never faulted its energy and crowd appeal.

On the spot and in the moment. Good crowd thrusting pattern and emotional faces framed to make the point.

This may just be the genuine article. If this isn't jj's then it is a perfect counterfeit. Either way it is a wonderful photograph. Top pick. 10

I love this, but want something to grab me out of the mob scene and it doesn't. Some vignetting and burning, perhaps?

A crowd scene like JJ is partial towards. Quite symphonic. The woman with the crutches deepens it yet further.

There are some excellent photos in this challenge, picking the 'real' JJ isn't easy. I will choose this as the authentic Beguin.

Tiberius meets jjbeguin. all the action is just out of sight, as miracles always are.... but so tantalizingly close for all its mystery.

I'm hanging this in my fantasy art gallery
