Mist always produces such a beautiful effect and you've transferred it in the painting nicely. I am pretty sure there are many people who noticed the figure in red as a perfect touch!
Just out of curiosity, have you tried to go for "watercolor" effect instead of "oil painting"? Not sure it would have worked as good, just that mists are easy to paint in watercolor. :-)
Lovely scene indeed, maybe a bit too much editing, I would of loved to have seen this in a softer version, as is it looks too concrete if you know what I mean.
