I would personally avoid the word "painting" in the title. But that's not my main point.
I am not usually moved by the elongated tree photographs but this one is different. It has depth and it remains essentially a photograph.
It has the magic of the moment when lost among trees one squints and the path is just "over there" and still so far away and it's almost like a near death experience....
A very moving image
