I'm sure the title makes no sense to most.

Fifi is the only B-29 Stratofortress in flying condition today. It is operated by the Commemorative (Confederate) Air Force.

This crewman is sitting inside one of the observation blisters toward the rear of the fuselage. I like the way the lean of his body mimics the shape of the window. I have gotten some very positive feedback on this, but have my doubts of it doing well with the DPC collective opinion.

Much better to view this on my desktop than my Ipad. A classic iconic image!

An EXCELLENT shot that fell through the mysterious cracks of the DPC voting

Yep. It's a bell-ringer all right. Just terrific, Steve.

So unique I knew this was from my fellow aviation enthusiast colleague :-). Wish I could see this elegant beast up close one day. Gave this a 9 btw.

So there you had ubique and Bear_Music comments. What more could you ask for? I enjoyed it but it didn't connect wrt DPC FS collective. In a specific challenge perhaps more so.

Lucky you, a date with a Superfortress. I had the good fortune to see FiFi myself, years ago. My uncle flew these planes in the war...

This one gets better the longer you visit with it. What perfect framing - all the elements fit just so!

Fifi's a B29 if my memory's accurate. But I never saw a B29 shot as interesting as this. It's terrific. Thank you.

Cool shot, caught my eye and held it - the circular framing of the subject through the heli-door is very interesting. Good luck!
