Eating a Christmas pie

He stuck in his thumb

And pulled our a plum

And said "What a good boy am I."


At least that's how I remember it ...

Gritty concrete-block corner at a city park building, dried plum (prune) held by [user]Isaac[/user].

-Handheld, manual mode
-FL 291.6mm (35mm EQ)
-Onboard flash at 1/3 power
-Channel Mixer in monochrome mode
-Separate Blue/yellow Curves through masks to plum and the rest of the photo
-Resize
-USM at 12%/48 dia/TH = 0
-USM at 66%/0.6 dia/TH = 5 (applied twice)
-SaveAs JPEG at quality 10/10 = 172KB

Nice idea but a lot of extra space in the image

I think a cleaner and lighter background would have helped - the dark purple stuff on his finger gets lost in the dark background.
