"Signs, signs, every where a sign, don't do this, don't do that can't you read the signs". Excuse me if I didn't quote the words to the song properly but that is what popped into my head when I saw your pic. Very good composition, and your choice of Fstop was very important to making this image work. The clarity, colors, the way the lines all work together, and shapes and forms make for a nice all around picture. What is missing is creativity. That something that seperates your work from a winner. The only thing I could suggest is to shoot from a different angle instead of head on. Not knowing the situation or what any other angle might look like, I'm only guessing. Better luck next challenge. JG |

everything looks really busy. Lots of signs to show. Any way you could have shown the sign behind the front one? |

Seems a bit too busy without a clearly defined subject. |

This looks awfully cluttered with stuff. There is a focal point, but I'm not seeing anything here that makes me think of this as anything worthy of hanging on a wall. Sorry! - Inspzil |

There isn't really one focal point to this photo. Looking at the past challenge might have helped you get an idea of how to present a roadsign (which is something we see everyday) in a new and interesting manner. Good luck! |

Well taken street sign shot. Is the business background significant? I'm not getting any kind of social/emotional message/connection (sorry, my bad). I know overhead wires are EVERYWHERE, but they take away more than they add.

Doesn't look like there are that many directions to go and still be on the road, maybe in the tractor building. I hate signs like this. Bless the pedestrian. Great photo. Very clear and overall great shot. Worth a 7 in my book. |

Even though the sign is huge I'm not drawn to it - there's a lot happening in this photo and it's difficult to understand the main subject. In some ways it's a nice collection of lots of types of signs, although you title suggests a single sign is the intended focal point. |

seems a little off angle but i like the 'busy-ness' of the photo. tuxedo ave. is looking pretty casual these days . . . |

I don't think the stuff on the right adds to your picture very much - what was on the left of it? |
