 This was a candid of my wife. She had just made her Starbucks run, and I liked the light. So, I quietly grabbed my camera. The X100s is essentially silent, but after just two shots she caught me.

I was not happy with the clutter (dog leash and remote), but if I would have tried to clear it the moment would have been gone. She is not a fan of having her picture taken -- especially not first think in the morning while she is relaxing. I considered cropping out the clutter, but I was not entirely pleased with the result. When I look at this image I focus on her, and I think she looks lovely. But then, I am biased.

Candid shots come with their environment. In this case, the clutter conveys a sense of real life and strengthens the context for someone enjoying a cup of coffee during a moment of relaxation while mentally drifting elsewhere. The light and mood were certainly worth recording. Glad to see you in top 20, but I would have put this in the top 10.
