 The weather forecast said all clear all day with one heavy shower. This was it.

This storm system formed out of nowhere and dissipated about 30 minutes later.. It was moving to the left with an almost continous thunder roam and some lightning on the left side. Took about 300 identical shots hoping to catch a lighting.

It looks closer than it is and we are standing safely out of it's reach. That cannot be said about our neighbor, who went swimming.

There's just something about the lines, squares, and 90 degree angles that make the composition of this shot darn near perfect. I love it.

Nice photo, but you do know that lightning can travel for miles don't you?! Not a good place to be just hanging around.
