Congrats on the top 15, Denise! In four trips, that was the first time I was able to get a clear shot of a puffin with fish. Thanks for pointing him out. I would have entered the same bird, but figured you probably had a better angle.

| A good beakful! The light seems pretty harsh, but you have controlled the exposure well, with just a little blocking of the shadow area. A bit of a shame at least one of the feet isn't visible. I note there is no sun catch light in the puffin's eye; I have taken hundreds and hundreds of photos of puffins, and I have noticed the absence in mine, even where I am sure the angle of the sun would result in one - I wonder if it is something to do with the structure of the eye? |

| Great catch, love to see them with their food. Great use of DOF. Only minor thing is the face, it seems just too dark. |
