Thanks, everyone. Would have loved to have been able to get a closer shot of this guy, but he was behind an electric fence in a field, standing a good distance off the road, so I was fortunate to get enough detail in the crop I had at 200mm. He only looked up for about 10 seconds, then went back to eating before roaming away.
Just when you think you know a good bit about the world something comes along and surprise you. Thanks for including the name of the animal - my first thought is that there is no way this exists to find out that it does! Lighting and detail are very good. It is the composition that suffers a little and could be better. You left me wanting to see this sheep close up. I think it would be better if the head and horns filled the frame. That way your audience and I could see all the wonderful details in the fur and horns close up. It is a good shot, but if you brought your audience closer with zoom or crop you would have a stellar shot.
