A very different look for you! Love it. A tiny bit torn about the greenish area in the center but there's magic in this image.

This image has caused me to stop and pay attention. That means it is in my 7-10 voting band. (Voted earlier)

Additionally, it is highly interesting/eclectic meaning it keeps me here long enough to offer a longer comment and a vote of 8 or more.

This is one of my 9s - I like it very much. Furthermore I think it enriches the DPC collective portfolio. Put simply, I wish we saw more stuff like this. Let me tell you why it pushes all the right buttons for me:

1. I love the low contrast look of this - I'm never brave enough to do it.
2. I love the compositional contrast between the pristine model and the murky background.
3. I'm fascinated by how calm, comfortable and serene she looks despite her precarious perch.
4. I like the overall oddness of the scene.

Lovely stuff.

I love this style of processing. It has a calm, elegance.

The composition felt a hair off at first. I had initially thought it could lose a tad from the top and the left, but when I tried cropping it that way the image lost some of its "space". Part of what she's, in theory, enjoying is the solitude of being alone in a wide open field. Cropping the way I had initially felt to crop it focused too much on her. The field is as much a part of the image as she is.

In summary, thanks for the composition lesson. Your composition is perfect. :)
