well .. i cant help loving this being quite taken by the old insects .. I LOVE IT SO MUCH .. not just coz of the insects but your processing is epic .. :)

Sterling wordplay at work here, presented as if serendipitously discovered in an ancient tome. The coloration works well, as does the nice touch of framing the trisected insect in a magnifying glass. The detail is excellent. I especially like how the area under the lens has gathered a surplus of light. One of my favorites.

Like this a lot....though I think it would be better in one of the upcoming challenges....three threes coming up. This isn't wacky to me....its Sepia Gorgeous. I just reorganized my bone, bug, and shell collection on the deep windowsill of my 19th century farmhouse. I like the antique look and the vignette. They don't seem very magnified. I'm liking the mottled background. I'd hang this in my home.
