 This idea came to my head almost instantly... i wanted a soft focus picture of a hand cuffed to the bed post. Since i dont have abed post, i took a chair and placed it next to the bed. then i set up a light on one side on the bed (pointing at the ceiling), and a smaller light 1m above the bed pointing onto the bed (not on the hand tho, just a bit to the side). i set my camera options, and used a box to keep steady (not easy taking shots lying on a bed if you're handcuffed!). i used a flash as a 3rd light source, but i shot the flash up at the ceiling.
then i applied a gaussian blurr to make it soft, played with contrast, usm, resample & submit!
hope you liked it, cuz i really do like it...

I like this alot and the the shot itself is well done. However, it seems like it was Neat Imaged into plastic looking on the petals for some reason. They look unatural even for silk flowers.

Naughty, naughty! ;)

The composition is good, and tells a story so well -- but the lighting is too flat binding the image without the contrast to hit the sweet spot.
