 Used a friends hands for this shot. Broke the cd in a plastic bag to not lose the pieces. Shot with a shirt as the backround. Onboard flash was used so 1/200 was max, which made me upset but it turned out alright. The pieces were dropped infront of the hands to show a breaking cd. Maybe 30 attempts were made. So many variations on editing I couldn't tell you which one this was. Neat image was the last step though, just mildly used.

Great Idea! The colours look a bit harsh and the colour on the hands aren´t very appealing. Still an 8 in my books.

pretty good, and i like the politics you included w/ the photo. the only thing here is that the skin tones are off.... but other than, a pretty good shot.

Without the "message" behind this photo, this might not have impressed me, since the coloring could be improvd. But putting together the overall composition and the intent, this image rises above most of the rest here. And it's slightly humorous. I like it.

it is the attack of the platic hands!!! Looks like a little too much Neat Image or noise filtering software. Great concept!

Maybe the hands should wear black gloves? Nice idea, clean shot. Just the hands... I don't know. I expect to see the face between them. If there is no face, gloves would've fit perfectly :) 8.
