 Really liked the concept of this one, but wasn't able to execute as I wanted. My first time using my ND3.0 and 10-22 was a trying experience in terms of perspective and composition.

Nearly didn't enter this, but recognized this was for Peter, and not me and wanted to show my support.

This ones for you, Peter. Never have I seen such strength and perseverance in an individual. You are an example to us all.

Setup: a simple as gets. Light through a window. 30s exposure with 25" sitting down on left, then running around to the other side of the table and and standing there for 5" to give the mirage.

Processing: also very simple.

Import into LR3
Crop
Send to Photoshop
Convert to B&W with SEP2 using Inverse Full Spectrum filter.
Applied sepia/copper tint and heavy grain
Global adjustments to Contrast and Clarity
Another B&W Luminosity layer on the table to bring out detail
Save for web.
