I like the softness in contrast that you've created with the feathers.

The thumbnail for this image makes it look like there's a really noticeable halo around the bird, but when I open it to full size it's not nearly as noticeable (there still is a little though). My thumbnail is doing a little bit of the same thing. Darn thumbnails... always exagerating! :)
