The selective dof is interesting and brings out the textures of the iron very well. Not so sure about the composition. My eye is not easily lead around the image, instead it is carried out of the frame in numerous places. The in focus section is almost exactly in the middle of the frame and does not have much support from the other elements in the shot. I think the subject has potential, just needed a different angle or approach. |
