 The tiger had crawled into his pool of water to cool off. He lapped up some water while he laid there. This image was at a zoo. I am sure you guessed that already though. It is a natural environment that has been built for him. The image was taken through real dirty plexi glass at 600mm. So I am glad with how it turned out. Hopefully the zoo haters don't kill it too bad.

Maybe cropped to tight in the top, but perhaps you were getting rid of something distracting.

Nice close up study with lovely detail in eye, whiskers and that little bit of tongue. I like the close crop. I don't think I've ever said this in a comment before but... I really think this image would be stronger with the addition of a border to provide a frame to the content.
