 This is the "Station A" building, in Vernon, CA. These are actually really stinking big diesel engines that operated as a power plant. It was built somewhere around 1932 and at the time was one of the biggest power plants in the world. This building is actually still owned by the city, the plant I work in is located just outside of this building but external. I'll try to do a pano of our portion of the plant, maybe from the top of the stack.

Thx for the info. I came back to look again, & this time picked on the full-size image. These are BIG! That red floor is interesting.
