We need to see more or less of the second horse. Otherwise a good picture.

Nice photo. I think tho it would look better with the horses coming into the frame, instead of leaving it, and maybe even better if they aeren't so close to the edge of the photo.

Nice shot, colors are great. I know this seems petty but I thing the shot would benefit by having the horses walking into the shot insteaf of out of it.

Very interesting, I would have cropped some of the grass out, other than that good job :)

I like the feeling of wide open expanse by including lots of blue sky. A long time ago I was told that an odd number of visual elements seems to balance better than an even number. Thus three or one tree(s) might work better than two. The horses and riders do fit in with your theme. Although circumstances may have been out of your control I would personally rather have the folks riding into the picture towards the trees thus bringing the viewers attention back inside the frame. Just a suggestion. The foliage of the larger trees is very photogenic. Those alone say in a silhouette with a horse on a puffy cloudy day would be a magical moment. You have got the right elements here in the game. A few minor changes in composition, lighting (i.e. dramatic sidelighting or backlighting during sunset/sunrise ) would alter the image presentation ...should you wish to do so. Otherwise a reasonable photo with redeeming qualities. Good luck.

Great shot...nice scene. I think that this might have been better, compositionally, if the horses were in a different spot. They seem to be stuck on the edge of the frame. It looks unbalanced with them in it. I might have also cropped some of the grass...there's a whole lot of the same there.

IMHO the horse shouldn't be there but this is one of the things I like the most of photography, you get to show whatever you want, after all, this is your shot! :)

cool trees

I love the shape of the trees here. The colour of the grass and sky is superb. Too bad the riders aren't moving into the photo instead of out. Lovely work regardless, I give you a 9 :) -Annida

i like this picture, but it would be better if the horses weren't leaving...

Composition seems a bit off. The two trees seem to compete for attention. The rider is way to far off to the left. better luck next challenge. md

very nice landscape shot... I think the only area for improvement in this one would be to crop out just a little bit of the foreground possibly. Empty sky is generally more appealing in a landscape than empty foreground. I really like the horse rider in this shot.. that makes this scene work nicely :) - setzler

Beautiful! A little less foreground might improve thirds, but a really striking photograph.

A lovely photo. The colour and contrast make for an interesting shot. My only criticism would be the left edge framing. Looking at the gap between the right edge and the tree, and the gap between the bush and the horse, I would have tried to replicate that gap on the left edge. I guess that's a personal taste thing though. Focus is quite good. Well done

Wonderful photo. The composition is great. The only thing that would make it better for me is if the riders were just entering the frame, not exiting. It's just more comfortable viewing being drawn into the picture and not out of it.

Beautiful. I love the simplicity of this shot. The angle and framing/cropping is nice. I'm glad you were able to get the horses and the trees in the photo. The colors are very nice. You have placed the horses, trees, and 'horizon' line very nicely within the photo. I like the seperation of blue/gree. Focus and clarity are very nice. I like this shot very much. Good luck in the challenge.

very nice ./. only one thing ruins it .. i only just noticed it too .. there are 2 horses .. but you really only see one .. you should have shouted hey .. can you pose for me .. and got them separated i know i know .. like you would do that .. but it ruined your shot

I like everything in this shot. I think that it should have cropped more of the grass though. I like the sky and the angle of the shot.

Those are some cool trees. I like the color. The horses are too close to the edge of the frame. Would work better if they were headed INto the shot instead of out.

I like the simplicity of this shot. I don't know if I care for the horse and rider in it though. It might have been ebtter without... The focus on the trees seems slightly fuzzy... and it may be a tad overexposed, seems a bit too bright... Overall though I like this shot. well done.

Love this composition. It's a keeper, neat in poster size.

I feel that Trees, grass and sky would be a stronger composition. A sqaure crop without the horse perhaps?
