A question without a question mark. And so the torrid love affair between the question and the answer begins. I'm enthralled. Hmmm...I did waffle about that empty space on the right though. Congrats on Top 10 and I gave it a 10!

A dreamscape. The feeling of running or pursuing, even though our striped-shirt subject appears to be in no hurry. Feels like we'll never catch up -- and that it will indeed never end.

When we stop thinking about it. Dark trousers and a long sleeved dark plain shirt could have added a timeless and neutral feel to what is already a very fine photo, well done.

This is a quite strong amalgam of static and moving elements - in reverse. The person moving seems static while the background moves. Yes we know how it's done in photography but the knowledge doesn't diminish the mind-bending effect. One minor gripe: the excessive blank space on the right dilutes the overall impact. Black is like a black hole - it pulls and works against the otherwise wonderful compositional effect.

I get an explosive, cinematic feel of loss and uncertainty. A journey, either life or some emotional turmoil, the title sets it up, the viewer gets to decide.

Compositionally, there is already a great deal of distance behind the subject, so we are left to empathize with the pain already suffered, and we are left with uncertainty about the road ahead, but confident the way is narrow and must be faced alone.

Beautiful art. That is how I see myself walking down to run the final 800m of my life. 10
