 First attempt at this.

This is the quiet Breznica valley near Skopje, in sunset. Magical place, relatively unknown. See any poppies anywhere? Neither did I, and I went out looking for them. So, it turned out a completely different painting. Editing was mostly using the oil painting filter, I didn't really have higher aspirations nor time. It took a few tries to get what I wanted, and the wilder it turned the more I liked it :).
What I did differently was a resize first and editing second. Much nicer effect and painterly (yet somehow synthetic) feeling - votes and comments seem to agree :). Thank you!

Wonderfully whimsical clouds. Not sure the effect works quite as well in the foreground for me. I'd be tempted to crop it out and let those clouds dominate the scene. I really, really like the clouds ;-)

This is beautiful! My only issue with it is that reddish/pinkish line towards the bottom. I cannot tell if it is a road or what. I would have edited it out. :)
