From someone that suffers from chronic anxiety and panic disorder when I saw your photograph it moved me emotionally. I could relate to his distress and the need of a touch from someone for comfort. This picture is powerful in my eyes. The lighting makes me focus directly to his face and the touch of a kind woman. Wonderful photograph, I give it a 10 because of the two reasons above. Congratulations and great capture. Good luck in this challenge.

Excellent light, great idea, the light, the shape of the persons and the composition are marvelous. I can feel this shot. well done. Have a cold beer you earned it.

I'm stunned. This is the first photo to come up for voting, and I'm blown away. You Perfect use of lighting - it's like he's being pulled from the darkness. The colors are clear & effective. His expression and her calming hand is very touching. In the whole "tactile vs. emotion" debate going on in the forum I was leaning toward tactile, but this has opened my eyes that it doesn't have to be one or the other. Great photo!
