Critique Club Comment. By Grayce M. Dillon aka Gracious

This is a nice subject, which meets the challenge in an interesting way.
The composition is very nice, and the panoramic format works exceptionally well with this castle. The shape of the castle, with all the spires is awesome.
I wish there was more detail in the castle. It's not dark enough to be a silhouette, but not light enough to show detail very clearly.
Of course within the confines of the challenge you couldn't do this any larger, but it would be stunning in a much larger size, in print. Just a little lighter, and perhaps more color saturation. It may also work nicely in b & w.
Over all I like it. :-)

the only thing i don't like about this picture is that the sky is so "boring." that said, though, since i am assuming you aren't God, you can't control that! The spires give this a neat effect, and I love the crop. Very well done. 10

nice crop, the castle is a little under exposed, but very interesting picture.

I like this crop... This image works very well as a Panorama (I generally don't like panos, but this one is nice). Nice crisp clean details. A more dramatic sky would be nice, but there isn't much you can do about that, is there? Good luck!

Yes it is a strange setting, you would see this more in Europe. Composition is great as well. Nicely done.

I usually do not like small format pictures like this but I like that one as a 'thumbmail' eevn if I would like to see it bigger on my screen. Nice exposure, contrasted but not too much. 7. Lionel

Great photo. I understand the crop, long building, long crop. I think however, that I would have left some more grass and sky to give it more balance. Just my opinion though.

I know that's not Versailles, France, it looks entirely different. Neat turrets and castle walls, not at all like the original. Nice panarama view. Swash 8

Awesome shot. I love the panorama effect with this. I think I would have brought out the green a bit. Very nice.

The only thing I might change about this is a little rotation to the right and maybe a bit less grain, although for this panorama it was likely difficult.
