 I bought this bunch of gerberas for $3.99 at Trader Joe's not thinking of this challenge. Once I learned of Shez's passing, I felt I could not pass up this challenge as I loved looking at her bright and vivid photos. Plus, I grew up not far from where she lived and often swam at the beaches near her home. This one was to honour her photo titled 'Golden Petals' as she loved Gerberas

This was taken next to a window using natural light, against a posterboard in the background.

A beautiful splash of sunshine! Very sharp and crisp. Wonderfully focused! Wish the background wasn't grey though.

There are many, many images of flowers at DPC. Occasionally, one stands above the crowd. This is one of them. I really like the neutral background.
