I thought this was yours. I really liked it I gave it an 8. I don't know what all the 3's were about but you got your unfair share.

This is ridicolous... How can somebody vote this picture less than a 5? I gave you a 9. This is technically perfect and also creative. I always think that scores below 5 should be for pictures which have bad composition or some sort of technical mistake, but an average good composed and exposed shot with no mistakes shouldn't get less than a 5. I think this site is losing the original intent which was to provide constructive comments (especially if you're ranking 4 and below - EXPLAIN WHY AND HOW TO IMPROVE!!!) and there are some secondary reasons for such votes.

This should have ribboned. My 2 cents.

Bizarre, Jeff!! Once again the lighting and processing are top notch. Looks like something out of A Clockwork Orange!

Jeff, Jeff, Jeff.... Did it hurt when you took it off? Strange image, yet oddly compelling. I really love the colors on this, and how you managed to create a sense of depth despite the flat white bg.

Voted earlier coming back to comment.

The lighting and the details are spot on with top tier work. The mood of the composition is disturbing which is different from the bulk of your other work which has those touches of whimsy and fun. To me the mood/statement is that we are prisoners not from the red tape but from the seemingly invisible constraints that squeeze upon us be it society, government, work, family, or ourselves (like issues of self-esteem or fears).

And you are going to pull your "selfies" from DPC why? Screw the lowballers. They couldn't pull this off if they tried. Most of them have yet to grow a beard (or breasts)... Brilliant, topical, high marks from me. Sadly no AK47 toting madmen in the BG.

I know where you got the inspiration from for this, but going more extreme would have worked better, especially at the lips. 7
