Love, love, love this. THis was my highest scoring image of the entire challenge. I really like the mood you created and I love the low contrast, vintage feel to the image. Brilliant!!!
Coming back to comment on images. I gave you an eight. The stick above the head really is the only negative for me, everything is spot on and well done. I am guessing you wanted the tree above the head as it is perfectly placed; still, it does not work for me. But otherwise a splendid picture. One of my favorites in the challenge. Well done.
like the washed out look of this, think I may have cropped it tighter but I like seeing some of the sky as well. I like your use of the vignette on this.
The lack of strong contrasts and color do not detract from this photograph but enhances it. Why? Because I get the strong sense of an old photograph. The mood and feel is of time gone by. The beauty of this person is forever captured/frozen in time to appreciate. The ladies features and the crown of flowers makes me think of Hawaii' sometime in the 1940's. Very nicely presented and done.
