It's a nice scene and has great potential of team "action. " I revisted this image and re-scored, looking to see if the "action" was a key element. Although it's not action-packed, it does have the kinetic energy required. Nice submission.

You got the challenge (soccer is a team sport and the way the ball is overhead seems to indicate it is ready to be thrown, suggesting action) but the photo is a bit boring IMO.

This is my fav of the challenge. It's so simple, but so beautiful. The blue of his jersey compounding with the blue of the sky just looks so perfect.

Why didn't you crop a little bit tighter at the bottom (and then just dodge & burn the sky :-)
