Action shot from Falkirk FC V Gretna FC.(Evening game)
This shows the first goal being scored in what was a 3-0 win for my beloved Falkirk.
Unfortunately, it also shows how inadequate my camera is for action sports under floodlighting

Adjustments to contrast , saturation and sharpness.
Image cropped and resized.

Funny title that fits the capture. Pretty crowded in there. Poor goalie didn't stand a chance with all his helpers blocking his view. Looks like an offsides call. ?
(I bet you can't wait to try your new camera on this type action!!)

Thanks Paul...I knew that I wouldn`t be scoring highly with this but I had hoped to finish between 5.5 & 6.
It`s a challenge that I probably should have sat out..given the limitations of my set-up and, just as importantly, the opportunities available to me (no daytime soccer).
Out of all the shots I took from the game,(and there were plenty), I thought that this one might do reasonably well since there was an element of humour in it which might help make up for some of the framing deficiences. It also captured an unusual event in that all but one of the opposition players are in the six yard box.
However, I think that most of those elements have been overlooked by the majority of voters, understandably I suppose if you have no knowledge of, or liking for, the sport.

Good color. Without the title, I wouldn't have known what was happening.

Good stop-action shot under such lighting conditions.

The shot is so wide, the viewer misses the action and grows bored looking for it. Not meant rudely.

Too busy. Should try to crop or shoot closer in to isolate some of the action

That looks like a melee. Nice sharp shot, although it's a little busy for my liking. I'd have tried to zoom in more on the action, if possible. Still, it's a very clean crop and nicely composed as it is. Good work.
