Although technically having short comings, I have noticed that this is a shot that relies on the calibration of the viewers monitor. I did the processing on my work monitor and it had a soft definition. On my home monitor it looked horrid, bleached and over contrast. On my Mac book Pro 13 it was soft but greenish. As far as content, that's up to you, for me it's a work method in progress ie not there yet by a long shot.

This is surprisingly powerful. I love the balance you created with the background light. Had that light not been there, the image would have felt so lopsided.

Hi, Daisy. Good self-portrait. Restrained but intimate.

Feels strange to say that I love this because I know who it is, it is a remarkable portrait though in every sense and your choice of composition and processing couldn't have been better, your eyes seem to want to teach us some deep secret that we may find disturbing, I don't mind being disturbed so a 10 it is.

the uncertain (somewhat worrying) expression of yours makes this image for me, John (composition is great and processing is cool).

Wow, part of me wants to see it sharper and part says don't mess with a good thing. Either way, nice job. 10

Great portrait. I like the graininess of the shot and the intense glare.
