This image is a one-two punch - first, the centered comp leads you straight to the good old goat; then, a mild darkening on the left side of the frame leads you to the shoes. It took me a while to grasp, so first, my condolences. The portrait orientation is magical. It helps maintain some distance from the emotional state that the image conveys. This piece is worth framing and hanging.
